Verona Park is my backyard. Situated on a major thoroughfare in the heart of New Jersey's Essex County, it is built around a beautiful natural lake with man-made enhancements. It is a frequent destination for ducks, geese, egrets and cormorants. People like to walk there, too. I include myself in this latter group. But I also like to visit the ducks.
