Pure steel. The GWB, as it's known in the New York metropolitan area, is a statement. It towers over the Hudson River, upper and lower levels carrying trucks and cars in an endless stream of exhaust and rumblings. But the best part of the bridge is the view from below. It never ceases to inspire me. Once again I return to Fort Lee (New Jersey) to capture the beauty and the majesty of this span of steel.
